Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a project manager with a general contractor or design-builder.
• Industrial or commercial ground-up work experience.
• Strong with budgets, buyout and owner-facing reporting.
• Experience with developer or REIT clients.
• Lives within reach of the Chicago area.
• Steady tenure with past employers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design-build projects from preconstruction through closeout, owning budget, schedule and client relationships.
• Coordinate design consultants and drive the design to budget.
• Buy out the job, write subcontracts and manage subcontractors.
• Own the schedule, cost reports, change orders and pay applications.
• Be the main contact for owners, developers and brokers.
• Close out projects: punch lists, warranties and turnover.
