Job summary

The IAPMO Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager in Florida to oversee complex commercial construction from preconstruction through turnover. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, contracts, and client relationships while upholding safety, quality, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within budgets and timelines.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects for a general contractor.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through turnover.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, and reports.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to meet objectives.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, scope reviews, and performance.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and change orders to minimize delays.
• Identify risks, cost overruns, scheduling conflicts, and scope changes.
• Lead project meetings and maintain communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes, contract requirements, quality standards, and safety policies.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Maintain project documentation and reports.
• Oversee closeout and turnover to the client.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
