You will mentor junior analysts, support loan committees, and build trusted relationships with clients while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely decisions. Strong analytical skills and a degree are required, with 3-5 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance, accounting, or economics.
• 3-5 years Credit Analyst or other applicable experience.
• Strong analytical and accounting background.
• Ability to prioritize work; detail oriented with urgency.
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets).
• Ability to read and understand regulations; clear written communication.
• Must comply with bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary underwriter for larger commercial loan requests or complex cases.
• Conducts annual analysis and prepares memorandums for large relationships.
• Assists with spreads, risk ratings, and smaller loan requests as assigned.
• Independently discusses alternative structures and turnaround with loan officers and management.
• Attends Loan Committee meetings to answer questions and present data.
• Acts as team leader and mentor to junior analysts.
• Proactively updates knowledge and participates in training and departmental projects.
