Job summary

Texas Heritage National Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst II to independently analyze business and financial records for commercial loan decisions. You will evaluate financial statements, ratios, market risk, and collateral, and work with loan officers under the Director of Credit Administration.

You will prepare credit requests, monitor covenants, and assist in loan structure decisions while ensuring policy adherence and timely documentation across client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field required.
• Three or more years of commercial credit analysis experience within a bank or financial institution required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Excel and Word experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes the financial data of new and existing borrowers and independently prepares credit requests and reviews of existing credits.
• Provides background, transaction summary, projection modeling, loan covenant and condition compliance with related analyses.
• Assists in determining best loan structure and provides credit recommendations.
• Monitors covenant and reporting compliance for assigned relationships and prepares annual reviews.
• Collaborates with loan officers during underwriting, including client calls and meetings as appropriate.
• Supports file completeness and timely resolution of document requirements.
• Maintains working knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Delivers clear communication to co-workers, loan officers, and third parties.
