Job summary

Sbf-Search, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout in Maryland. You will lead project teams, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with Field Superintendents, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires strong leadership, client communication, and a track record in CMAR delivery, with proficiency in industry tools and software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred but not required.
• CMAR project delivery experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with budgeting, cost controls, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, consultants, and multiple project stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software (PlanGrid, Procore, Primavera P6).

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout.
• Coordinate field operations with Field Superintendents to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide leadership to project teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and financial reporting; monitor costs and change orders.
• Manage subcontractor bidding, procurement, scopes, and contract administration.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; monitor milestones and procurement activities.
• Prepare and manage change orders and maintain project documentation.
• Participate in preconstruction budgeting, constructability reviews, and value engineering.
