Job summary

DwyerOmega is seeking an experienced CNC machinist in Swedesboro, NJ to take parts from print to finished piece. The role requires working with SolidWorks, SolidCAM, and multiple CNC lathe machines in a collaborative team environment.

The candidate should be proficient in CAM programming, G/M codes, and quality inspection, with strong communication skills. This is a full-time position offering growth and hands-on leadership opportunities within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as an skilled machinist able to take a job from print to finished part.
• Proficient with CNC Lathes including 3- and 4-axis machines.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modeling software.
• Knowledge of SolidCAM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write and modify CNC programs for 4 to 8 axis machines per print.
• Review drawings and determine sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Analyze and optimize programs to increase efficiency.
• Select and secure holding fixtures and tooling; verify functionality.
• Perform first piece inspections with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Mentor other CNC personnel and monitor production quality.
