Job summary

TECOMET in Michigan is seeking a Production Team Lead to coordinate daily operations, provide work direction, and allocate resources to meet business goals under company policies and procedures.

You will drive Lean initiatives to eliminate waste, lead day-to-day production activities, manage area resources, and help develop your team’s adherence to policies while ensuring cross-training and skills development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• MRP/ERP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate daily production operations to meet goals.
• Lead day-to-day production activities within the assigned area.
• Manage resources of the value stream.
• Drive Lean initiatives and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Develop and communicate team adherence to policies and procedures.
• Ensure cross-training and update skills matrix.
