Job summary

Oaks Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to supervise caregiver staff during shifts and ensure high-quality resident care. The CMA will administer medications per state regulations and Oaks policy, maintain MOR/MAR documentation, and respond to emergencies with a focus on resident safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include enforcing the six rights of medication, coordinating with Wellness Director, and maintaining open communication with residents and families

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working with residents in a Senior Living environment.
• Supervisory experience in a healthcare or service industry preferred.
• Must be in good standing with the Georgia CNA/CMA Registry.
• Must be 21 years of age and pass a criminal history check.
• Must have a physical exam by a licensed physician and a negative drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregiver staff on duty and ensure quality resident care.
• Administer medications following the six rights and document on MOR/MAR.
• Respond to resident emergencies and maintain resident safety and privacy.
• Communicate resident needs to Wellness Director and Manager-on-Duty.
• Develop and maintain caregiver staffing schedules to meet resident needs.
