Job summary

Oaks Senior Living in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to supervise caregiver staff, deliver quality resident care, and administer medications in accordance with state regulations and Oaks policy.

You will ensure safety, respond to emergencies, maintain records, and uphold resident rights while supporting a person-centered lifestyle. Requirements include CMA and CNA certificates and good standing in the Georgia CMA registry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working with residents in a senior living environment.
• Georgia CMA certificate and CNA certificate required; must be in good standing.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must meet physical requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregiver staff on duty and ensure quality resident care.
• Administer medications per MOR and six rights, with proper documentation.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies; maintain safety.
• Maintain up-to-date paperwork and communicate changes to leadership.
• Assist with meals, infection control, and resident rights and privacy.
