Job summary

Oaks Senior Living in Georgia is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to supervise caregiver staff, ensure quality resident care, and uphold the residence philosophy. The CMA will properly administer scheduled medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Oaks Senior Living policy.

The CMA will provide personalized care, follow the six rights of medication, monitor for adverse reactions, and respond to emergencies with CPR & First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a Senior Living environment.
• Supervisory experience in healthcare or service industry preferred.
• In good standing with the Georgia CNA/CMA Registry.
• Must be 21 years of age with clear criminal history.
• Valid physician clearance and drug screen on file.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregiver staff to provide quality resident care.
• Adhere to each resident’s service plan and report changes to supervisors.
• Answer and respond to resident calls promptly.
• Administer medications per MOR with full privacy and accuracy.
• Maintain infection control and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Attend staff meetings and coordinate shift staffing as needed.
