Job summary

Oaks Senior Living in Woodstock, GA seeks a Certified Medication Aide to supervise caregiver staff, administer medications per MOR, and ensure resident safety and well‑being in line with the residence’s policies.

The CMA collaborates with the Wellness Director and Executive Director, maintains required certifications, and upholds Resident Care Plans with a focus on compassionate, person‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a Senior Living environment.
• Supervisory experience in healthcare or service industry preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate.
• Georgia Certified Medication Aide Certificate.
• Must be in good standing with the Georgia CNA/CMA Registry.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Satisfactory criminal history check.
• Must have a physical exam by a licensed physician.
• Must have negative drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as assigned by the Wellness Director and/or the Executive Director; supervise caregiver staff on duty.
• Adhere to each resident’s Negotiated Service Plan and notify changes in resident condition.
• Administer medications to residents according to MOR and document appropriately.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies following proper procedures.
• Maintain CPR & First Aid certification and promote residents’ rights and safety.
