Job summary

Oaks Senior Living seeks a Certified Medication Aide to supervise caregiver staff, administer medications, and uphold the facility’s resident-centered care philosophy. You will ensure timely medication administration, document in MOR, and respond to calls while maintaining privacy and safety.

You will also support staffing schedules, follow infection control procedures, and communicate with Directors as part of the care team. Requires GA CNA/CMA certs, 1+ year experience, and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience working with residents in a Senior Living environment.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate required.
• Georgia Certified Medication Aide Certificate required.
• Good standing with Georgia CNA/CMA Registry.
• Must be 21+ with satisfactory criminal history check.
• Must pass physical exam, negative drug screen, and have CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregiver staff on duty and ensure quality resident care.
• Administer medications following the six rights and MOR documentation.
• Respect resident rights and document administration accurately.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies per policy.
• Maintain infection control and safe dining oversight.
• Attend staff meetings and communicate resident needs to directors.
• Develop and maintain caregiver staffing schedules according to resident needs.
