Job summary

Avenue 360 Health and Wellness is seeking a Lead Certified Medical Assistant to lead the MA team, oversee daily clinical operations, and ensure high-quality patient care.

The Lead CMA will supervise staff, monitor infection control, improve workflow, and collaborate with nursing leadership to maintain compliance and readiness across the clinic.

Strong clinical knowledge, leadership, and communication skills are essential to mentor teammates and sustain safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma and MA certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Experience with EHR and clinic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision of Medical Assistants and ensure compliance with standards.
• Train MA staff on policies, procedures, protocols, and documentation requirements.
• Monitor infection control policies and assist with quality initiatives.
• Oversee clinic workflow, patient flow, and pre-charting duties.
• Maintain clinic logs, supplies, vaccines, and emergency kits.
• Collaborate with CMA Supervisor, LVN team, and Regional Nurse Manager.
• Support data quality and participate in QA activities.
• Adapt to cross-coverage and evolving clinic priorities.
