Job summary

Avenue 360 Health and Wellness is seeking a Lead Certified Medical Assistant (Lead CMA) in Houston to provide leadership and daily operational support for the MA team. Working under the Quality Manager, you will promote excellent patient care, staff development, and adherence to clinical standards.

You will supervise MA staff, train on policies and documentation, and help manage patient flow, infection control, and quality initiatives across the clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and Medical Assistant Certification required.
• BLS Certification required; bilingual ability preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision of Medical Assistants and ensure adherence to standards of care.
• Lead infection control activities and ensure clinic readiness and safety.
• Oversee clinical workflows, pre-charting, and patient flow across the clinic.
• Monitor clinical logs, inventories, and supplies; support vaccine programs as needed.
• Collaborate with CMA Supervisor, LVN team, and Regional Nurse Manager to drive quality improvements.
