Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned software engineering leader in the United States to drive a portfolio of technologies and mentor a team of developers. You will architect and deliver distributed microservices and full-stack systems aligned with regulatory requirements in a cloud-first environment.

The role emphasizes staying ahead of tech trends, contributing to internal and external communities, and close collaboration with product managers to empower customers through robust cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• 1+ year of cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
• 7+ years of experience in Python, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, or Go.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
• 1+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of Agile practices.
• Experience with interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver robust cloud-based solutions supporting financial empowerment.
