Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Expert-level Python and AWS cloud-native development.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust determination.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead feature work on an AWS cloud-native stack, owning user stories from refinement through production.
• Direct the build of serverless, event-driven application workflows on Lambda and Step Functions.
• Own integrations between COTS products and in-house system frameworks.
• Design and ship API interconnections for modern system architectures.
• Lead data and document pipelines that automate previously manual processes.
• Build cloud-native systems that create business value through automated operations.
• Deliver tested, working code into production and help establish the team's quality bar.
• Build and maintain delivery pipelines and automated tests.
• Establish AI-assisted development practices with tools like Amazon Q Developer.
• Mentor developers and help them improve through collaboration.
• Help launch new capabilities, tools, and lines of business for the firm.
