Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior engineering leader in the United States (Massachusetts) to lead a portfolio of cloud-enabled, full-stack projects. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product managers, and drive regulatory-compliant, AI-powered risk-management solutions across scalable microservices and distributed systems.

The role requires at least 6 years of software engineering experience and 4+ years in people management, with cloud experience on AWS/GCP/Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• At least 4 years of people management experience
• Capital One sponsorship eligibility for employment authorization
• Preferred: Master’s Degree
• Preferred: 9+ years of experience in JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• Preferred: 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• Preferred: 7+ years of people management experience
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
• Preferred: Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion

• Lead a portfolio of tech projects and manage a team of developers

• Stay current with technology trends and experiment with new technologies
• Mentor engineers and participate in technical communities
