Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, build, and enhance cloud-native platform capabilities leveraging Kubernetes-based platforms across multiple enterprise teams. You will reduce delivery friction, improve onboarding, and drive standardization in containerized environments.

You will work with developers, security, and architecture partners to implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, Helm charts, and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise software in Java.
• Advanced Bash scripting and Linux internals.
• Experience with Kubernetes environments and AKS.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline design and automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support container-based platform solutions to improve developer productivity.
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes platform capabilities and deployment patterns.
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines for secure, scalable deployments.
• Develop Helm charts, deployment templates, and automation tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve onboarding and self-service capabilities.
• Implement security best practices across containerized environments and ensure compliance.
• Support platform reliability and performance optimization initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive standardization and modernization.
