JPMorganChase, within Merkets Technology, seeks a Lead Software Engineer to join an agile team delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way. You will be a core technical contributor shaping architecture and solving complex problems across multiple business functions.

You will align technical strategy with partner teams, design cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes and Terraform, and drive CI/CD and security practices to improve reliability and performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in Python or Java and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Align technical strategy with partner teams to deliver a complete and coherent experience for Athena Developers.
• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Partner with a global team of engineers to transform the Athena Core Platform to a resilient and scalable cloud-based architecture.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
• Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new technologies.
