Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff to drive state-of-the-art Mobility platforms and 5G technologies.

You will lead CI/CD for SaaS apps, containerization, and cloud infrastructure, partnering with development and production teams to ensure scalable, reliable services in a modern telecom environment. The role emphasizes Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and automation across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, with a strong focus on performance monitoring and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
• Expertise in code deployment tools like Git, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, JFrog.
• Working knowledge of databases like MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python.
• Working knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Sound understanding of system and application monitoring, performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining CI/CD process for SaaS applications utilizing tools like Git, Docker, JFrog.
• Implementing and maintaining the infrastructure on Azure via scripts and tools such as Terraform.
• Containerization and orchestration of services using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible.
• Designing and developing automation templates/tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration & change management.
• Collaborating with development and production teams to identify and fix scalability and performance issues.
• Ensuring and improving system efficiency, consistency, performance by using data analytics.
• Monitoring systems, services, and infrastructure to identify issues before they cause outages.
