Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited is seeking a civil/structural engineering leader for the Port Inload Shed project, based in West Perth. You will guide design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, coordinating multiple stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant outcomes in a cyclonic port setting.

The role emphasizes visible safety leadership, cost control and timely delivery, with a focus on durability, foundations and interfaces. Travel to site will be regularly required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience delivering heavy industrial, mining, port or bulk materials handling projects.
• Strong leadership of multi-disciplinary design and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering delivery for Port Inload Shed and related infrastructure from design through handover.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and internal/external stakeholders to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Review technical deliverables, drawings, specifications, and RFIs; manage non-conformances and as-built docs.
• Ensure designs and construction are safe, compliant, and fit-for-purpose in a cyclonic port environment; address durability and interfaces.
• Provide safety leadership and ensure compliance with project HSE plans and Life Saving Rules.
• Prepare engineering plans and reports to support procurement, contract administration and handover.
