Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of related construction project management experience, heavy highway or structural experience highly preferred.
• Experience in heavy civil infrastructure projects with duties: cost reporting/projections, submittals, work plans, RFI’s, CPM Scheduling, T&M Billing, and Change Orders.
• Ability to manage projects, interface with clients and hands-on approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards; ability to read drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of HCSS, AASHTOWare, and Primavera/P6 (preferred).
• OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
• Develop and incorporate Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, QA/QC Plans, and other documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead inter-disciplinary teams of professionals across multiple heavy civil infrastructure projects to ensure successful project delivery.
• Act as the Company representative with the client, stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, costs, and projections to ensure profitability and accurate reporting.
• Ensure procurement of required materials and requisition of equipment and labor resources to complete projects.
• Negotiate changes to scope of work with client and key subcontractors; market and secure additional work.
• Deliver Federal and State-funded infrastructure projects in coordination with teammates and senior personnel.
• Negotiate with regulatory agencies and participate in public meetings in support of clients.
