Kiewit Corporation in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Industrial Lead Civil Estimator to manage the development of comprehensive cost estimates for industrial projects. You’ll interpret contract documents and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver accurate pricing.

Remote work is possible for qualified candidates. The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management background with 4+ years of estimating experience and 3+ years in civil/structural

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 4 years in construction estimating and at least 3 years of civil/structural design experience in relevant industries.
• Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and estimating software.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Review client RFPs, specs, drawings, contracts, and reference materials to ensure estimates comply with technical requirements.
• Lead quantity takeoffs and develop detailed civil/structural cost estimates.
• Coordinate with procurement to assemble subcontractor and material bid packages.
• Mentor junior estimators and support proposal development.
• Ensure estimates align with safety, constructability, and project standards.
