Job summary
Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering in Lenexa, Kansas seeks a Structural Estimate Lead to guide estimating for large industrial EPC projects from concept through execution. You will partner with engineering, procurement, construction, and startup teams to develop accurate, competitive estimates while identifying constructability risks and cost efficiencies.
You will lead and mentor estimating teams, advance estimating tools and best practices, and help grow Kiewit’s Industrial business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in structural estimating or related fields.
- Experience with Pre-FEED/FEED/EPC/Design-Build.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of detailed estimates for large industrial EPC projects.
- Coordinate the project's structural design within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Develop estimates from conceptual design through execution.
- Review contracts, specifications, drawings, quantities, and design deliverables.
- Apply knowledge of structural construction, sequencing and labor productivity.
- Mentor estimating staff and improve tools and processes.
- Support proposal development and bid formation.
