Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead gravity sewer, force main, and water distribution design across New Mexico and the Southwest region. You will act as Engineer-of-Record, guide technical specifications, and manage client relationships while mentoring the local team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
PE registration or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Minimum 5 years of water/wastewater conveyance design experience.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary water projects.

Responsibilities

Lead design and construction of gravity sewer, force mains, water distribution.
Serve as Engineer-of-Record and prepare specs and construction docs.
Manage client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, and risk.
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and clients.
Lead value engineering and constructability reviews.
