Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer based in Houston, TX, with a strong track record in planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects. This hybrid role requires technical leadership across phases and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to meet budget and schedule.

The successful candidate will mentor junior staff, review complex calculations and reports, and engage with clients and agencies to develop practical, compliant solutions for public and private sector

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design and technical activities for infrastructure projects from planning through final design and construction support.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications and other project deliverables.
• Coordinate civil design activities with multidisciplinary engineering, environmental, planning and construction teams.
• Provide technical oversight and quality reviews to confirm engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards and project requirements.
• Mentor engineers and supporting staff; assist project managers with scopes, schedules and budgets.
