SpaceXSI is seeking an exceptional Civil Engineer to lead civil and site development for next-generation data center campuses and co-located power facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
• 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience on data centers, fabs, power plants, or industrial facilities.
• Licensed PE; additional certifications (e.g., Certified Floodplain Manager) a plus.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end civil and land development engineering for hyperscale data center campuses, power generation sites, turbine support areas, transformer yards, and industrial infrastructure.
• Lead hydrology and hydraulics analysis, floodplain modeling, stormwater design, retention/detention systems, and flood mitigation strategies.
• Design and optimize land development plans, earthwork, site grading, erosion/sediment control, cut/fill balancing, and foundation prep for heavy loads.
• Perform advanced floodplain modeling, environmental assessments, regulatory permitting, and sustainability evaluations.
• Drive cross-functional coordination with structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, and construction teams.
• Provide expert civil input during site selection, geotechnical investigations, feasibility studies, and due diligence.
• Deliver rapid, high-quality responses to RFIs, submittals, and field inquiries; maintain design intent.
• Conduct site visits and construction observations to verify earthwork, drainage, utilities, and erosion control.
• Identify innovative solutions in sustainable land development and underground utilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to civil design standards.
