Job summary

SpaceXSI is seeking an exceptional Civil Engineer to lead the civil and site development design and delivery of hyperscale data center campuses and related facilities. You will architect resilient civil infrastructure for ultra-dense AI compute loads and rapid deployment timelines.

This high-impact role requires collaboration across structural, MEP, geotechnical, and construction teams to deliver facilities powering SpaceXSI’s growth, with a focus on sustainable, compliant, and high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred; floodplain management certification a plus.
• 5+ years of civil engineering on data centers, power plants, or heavy industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end civil and land development engineering for hyperscale data center campuses and power generation sites.
• Lead hydrology and hydraulics analysis, floodplain modeling, stormwater design, and flood mitigation strategies.
• Design and optimize land development plans including earthwork, site grading, erosion control, and foundation prep.
• Perform advanced floodplain modeling, environmental assessments, and regulatory permitting.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, and construction teams to integrate civil systems.
