Job summary

SpaceXAI in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to join our infra team building large-scale compute facilities. You will lead structural design and analysis for data centers, focusing on high-density equipment, seismic resilience, and rapid deployment timelines.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, civil, and construction partners using Tekla, ETABS, RISA, STAAD, Revit, and AutoCAD, mentor junior engineers, manage budgets and schedules, review drawings, and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• PE license required; SE preferred.
• 10+ years in structural engineering for building projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for data centers and compute facilities.
• Develop and review structural models, calculations, drawings, and specs (Tekla, ETABS, RISA, STAAD).
• Coordinate with MEP, cooling, raised floors, and modular components.
• Perform seismic analysis and vibration isolation design for high-density equipment loads.
• Manage schedules, budgets, submittals, site visits, and QA/QC; mentor juniors.
