Job summary

SpaceXSI is hiring a lead electrical engineer to design, build, and activate advanced facilities and data centers. You will lead a team to deliver complete electrical designs, support operations, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with other engineers, trade partners, and internal customers to drive projects that enable global impact and multiplanetary infrastructure growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience on electrical projects, power distribution, switchgear, UPS, and/or generators.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electrical engineers to deliver detailed electrical design for power distribution, switchgear, lighting, UPS, generators, and grounding.
• Provide engineering support to facility technicians for troubleshooting electrical equipment and controls.
• Ensure designs meet codes and integrate with other mechanical systems and facility power budgets.
• Coordinate electrical installations with utilities and suppliers; review NFPA and IBC standards.
