Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT is seeking a motivated Principal Engineer, Systems Engineering for CIP tasks. The role reports to the TF33 Chief Systems Engineer and will lead CIP activities with cross-functional teams across CT, OK, PR, and FL.

You will develop standard work, serve as SME for CIP projects, and contribute to program reviews and roadmaps. Requires a STEM degree with 8+ years aerospace experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years, plus 10% travel. Onsite relocation eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math with 8+ years aerospace experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
• 10% Travel.

Responsibilities

• Support CIP tasks owned by other engineering organizations as a project SME (subject matter expert).
• Lead some EDSI owned tasks, including CAM responsibilities.
• Contribute to SIPTs and CIP tasks and related technical reviews.
