Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead specialized rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, design custom splints, and develop recovery plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, licensure as PT or OT, CHT credential, and CPR/BLS. You will mentor staff, supervise assistants and students, and contribute to post-surgical and work-conditioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT credential preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab/outpatient experience.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish a care plan.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, therapists and other professionals.
• Provide post-surgical and injury rehabilitation including scar management and return-to-work rehab.
