Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver highly specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, design splints, and create recovery plans in a collaborative clinical setting.

The role requires 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, a state PT or OT license, and CHT credential. You will work with surgeons and therapists to optimize outcomes and education for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OT degree preferred; OT program graduate.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints; educate on wear and care.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
