Job summary

Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is seeking an on-site Supervisor for our San Francisco store. You’ll help the general manager deliver excellent customer service, drive profitability, and uphold brand standards while leading a team of Chocolateers.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, coaching staff, ensuring food safety, and coordinating with corporate partners. The role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One or more years of related experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment with six or more months as a supervisor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the well-being of store and its employees through effective management of safety and risk, including prevention, escalation, and response.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization by following company standards of team-building, recognition, and professionalism.
• Work closely with store personnel, general manager, store and division management teams, and corporate liaisons such as human resources, IT, finance, and payroll.
