Job summary

Ghirardelli Chocolate in San Francisco is seeking a Retail & Restaurant Supervisor to support store leadership, guide the team, and deliver an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality environments.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations.
• Lead shifts and manage the sales floor, including retail, cash wrap, and café areas.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and brand presentation.
• Monitor sales and labor to help meet business goals.
• Serve as the point of contact during manager absences.
• Model exceptional customer service and resolve escalated guest concerns.
• Maintain product knowledge and allergen awareness.
• Coach and support team members to drive performance and engagement.
