Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Research & Development Supervisor to lead a small team of scientists in developing new products and processes for processed and natural cheese. The role utilizes a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) at the Green Bay Home Office and involves collaboration with customers on trials and startups.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in dairy R&D, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with travel up to 15% for site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in dairy and cultured products.
• History of successful new product development from concept to implementation and commercial sale.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams in the development of new products and processes with high impact to Schreiber Foods.
• Provides project guidance through prioritization, resources, and problem solving.
• Conveys complex technical concepts to non-technical partners and prepares technical reports.
• Develops products and processes with robust experimental design and sound scientific method.
• Maintains network of internal and external contacts to complete projects.
