Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking a talented Chassis Engineer to lead design, release, and delivery of chassis components for high-performance racing programs. You will drive QCWFT, coordinate with Purchasing, and guide programs through milestones with internal and external teams.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 4+ years in chassis engineering, with CAD tool proficiency and strong communication skills. Exposure to Teamcenter, CATIA, and GDMEA workflows is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• 4+ years of experience in Chassis engineering with at least one completed program.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Body exterior or powertrain experience may be considered.
• 2+ years using CAD/visualization tools.
• Knowledge of GPDS and program delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, release, and delivery of Chassis components and systems for Ford Racing, managing QCWFT to milestones.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to source commodities.
• Lead program delivery through multiple milestones.
• Coordinate FSS and internal/external resources for programs.
• Ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.
• Develop innovative racing vehicle solutions including design, CAE, and testing.
• Support issue resolution and design change management during prototype builds and launches.
