Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a seasoned Body Interior Design & Release engineer in Michigan to drive component design, release, and delivery for a new model program. You will manage cross-functional teams to meet QCWFT milestones and collaborate with FSS and external resources.

The role requires 5+ years in interior design, CAD experience, and knowledge of GPDS. A passion for high-performance vehicles and an engineering mindset are essential for success in Ford Racing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 5+ years in Body Interior Design & Release with one completed program.
• CAD or visualization tools experience is required.
• Knowledge of GPDS and program delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, release, and delivery of components for Ford Racing on a new model program.
• Manage QCWFT to support milestones; work with internal/external resources.
• Lead FSS and other resources to deliver the program.
• Interface design/color/material studios to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions for high-performance vehicles.
• Support issue resolution and design changes during prototype builds.
• Collaborate with Core Body Interior Engineering Organization.
