Job summary

Washington State University is seeking a Coordinator, Challenge Program & Climbing Wall to oversee the daily operations of the climbing wall and related programs. The role involves cultivating relationships with partners to provide experiential education for students and the public, while managing budgets and guiding staff.

The position is full-time, with 100% FTE, and requires supervisory experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 3 years of related experience, including 1 year supervisory.
• Current climbing wall instructor or challenge course certification from an industry-recognized organization.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of low- and high-ropes course and climbing wall.
• Manage program budgets and coordinate operations.
• Provide supervision, training, and support for program staff.
