Job summary

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of program activity and industry best practices.

  • Experience in climbing gym management including route setting and safety requirements.
  • Experience overseeing a top rope climbing site, teaching belaying, and managing belay teams.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and implement open recreation, events, instructional and leadership programs at the climbing wall.
  • Oversee activities for groups and individuals in a variety of social, recreational, and physical activities.
  • Create custom events based on customer goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement program policies and procedures based on industry standards.
  • Submit facility use requests as needed and manage program staffing.
  • Develop new group programs, safety training, and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist with public relations and promotional programs with Marketing and Communications staff.
