Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech Lead to oversee cleaning, sterilization, and readiness of surgical instruments. You will lead the Sterile Processing team, organize instrument sets to match surgery schedules, and ensure infection-control standards are met in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires a sterile processing tech program graduate with at least 1 year of lead experience. Shift is days with weekends rotation; on-call and holiday coverage may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Graduate from a sterile processing tech program required.
• 1 year of lead sterile processing tech experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, cleaning, and sterilization of instruments and supplies.
• Organize instruments and equipment based on surgery schedules and special needs.
• Monitor sterilization processes and equipment performance; keep records and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace that supports infection control standards.
• Train and support team members to work safely and care for every patient.
