Job summary

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Sr Sterile Processing Tech to oversee decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments for ORs and clinics. You will ensure adherence to infection control policies and manufacturer guidelines while supporting diverse patient needs from infancy to geriatrics.

You will manage schedules for sterilization, prepare case carts, and operate instrument-tracking systems, liaising with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• 18 months of surgical instrument technician experience.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification(s) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with infection control policy implementation.
• Decontaminate surgical instruments and power equipment.
• Decontaminate other medical devices and ensure proper use of disinfectants.
• Follow manufacturer recommendations and maintain cleaning protocols.
• Coordinate instrument tracking and case cart preparation.
