Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leader in healthcare in Nashville, seeks a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician to safeguard sterile instrument readiness. You will lead a team, ensure instrument safety, and maintain meticulous records to support high-quality patient care.

You will oversee instrument prep, sterilization cycles, and inventory while collaborating closely with surgical teams to maintain efficiency and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must obtain CSPDT, CST, or CRCST within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays to ensure readiness.
• Operating and maintaining sterilization equipment with records of cycles and safety checks.
• Preparing surgical sets and case carts by reviewing daily schedules and gathering instruments.
• Managing inventory and organizing supplies in OR storage areas to support on-time surgeries.
• Leading and training the Sterile Processing team and sharing updates on new equipment and processes.
