Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Senior CEI Inspector to lead advanced construction inspection in the Cartersville, GA area.

You will supervise field staff, perform complex inspections of roadway and bridge work, and support contract administration and project documentation. Applicants should have 4+ years of transportation inspection experience, GDOT certifications, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Progressive transportation technician experience (4+ years) with a GDOT or consultant.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Experience serving as a lead inspector and coordinating inspection personnel.
• Ability to pass GDOT CET tests Groups 1–3 and obtain required certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level CEI inspections for roadway and bridge projects.
• Supervise and provide guidance to lower-level inspectors and review field documentation.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing per project specs.
• Perform contract administration duties including field measurements and documentation.
• Review invoiced work for accuracy and monitor project funding.
• Participate in project meetings and close-out activities.
