  • Evaluate software state machine logic used to implement interlocking functions in CBTC subsystems and ensure proper alignment with NYCT signaling principles and operational rules.
  • Provide assurance that signal design changes maintain interoperability, safety integrity, and system maintainability during migration from fixed-block to CBTC control.
  • Support interface alignment between CBTC zone controller logic, relay interlockings, and field signal equipment.
  • Participate in design and field review meetings with NYCT Engineering, Operations Planning, and maintenance teams to address design, testing, and configuration issues.
  • Track and report on signal design deliverables, test progress, and open design comments requiring review or resolution.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required to support the successful integration, validation, and acceptance of the CBTC and fixed-block signaling systems.
