Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a Lead Cath Lab Tech to oversee a multi-modality cardiac cath laboratory. You will lead technologists, coordinate staffing, and drive quality and safety initiatives across procedures such as structural heart, EP, and diagnostic cath.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, leading QA audits, and serving as a liaison among management, physicians, and vendors to ensure optimal patient care and compliance with TDSHS and TJC standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed MRT in the State of Texas.
• Current ARRT Licensure for Technologists.
• Active Certification with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RCIS or RCES.
• Current certification in Interventional Angiography preferred.
• Must have BCLS and ACLS certifications per AHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Radiologic Technologists in a multi-modality Cath Lab per shift.
• Lead staff, organize work schedules and assignments.
• Perform quality assurance audits and lead quality improvement activities.
• Train and mentor staff; provide performance feedback.
• Lead special projects and data reporting for performance metrics.
• Be on rotational call with RT and RCIS staff; ensure regulatory compliance.
