Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, and customer-focused with strong teamwork.
• Operate front end equipment (register, calculator, scanner) and handle cash accurately.
• Excellent numeracy, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Able to multi-task, stay organized, and supervise team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks to ensure excellent service.
• Assist with customer issues at the register and maintain smooth checkout flow.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and take disciplinary actions when needed.
• Maintain visibility of security and loss prevention on the front end.
