Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude and ability to be a role model.
• Operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication, ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts up to 35 lbs. for short distances.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service by directing cashiers and assisting customers at the register.
• Assign store sweeps, monitor cash register supplies, and maintain restroom/parking lot cleanliness.
• Maintain security by monitoring exit doors and supporting loss prevention.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a winning team.
