Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Head Cashier to oversee a team of cashiers and assist with store operations. You will ensure excellent customer service, monitor cash handling, and guide frontline staff in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and strong communication skills to act as a role model for the team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and strong numerical/cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support at registers and with customer issues.
• Schedule meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and take steps for disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain security, cleanliness and proper cash handling at the front end.
