Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team, mentor cashiers, and ensure exceptional customer service. The role includes supervising register operations, assisting customers, and supporting hiring and training initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years cashiering with leadership training, a high school diploma or GED, and flexible availability including nights and weekends. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with HS diploma or GED and cashiering experience
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and customer-focused
• Able to operate front-end equipment and handle numbers accurately
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and move carts as required

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks to deliver excellent customer service
• Assist customers at the register and resolve issues promptly
• Schedule and oversee store sweeps and maintain cash register supplies
• Monitor security and loss prevention by supervising exit doors
• Schedule breaks per policy and assist with hiring/training new Cashiers
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and drive team performance
